  1. What role would Lord Vader play in this film? The same as it's been since Ep. IV, Seek and Destroy Rebels. What better place to look for Rebel activity or collusion than where smugglers operate? Rebels need supplies as they certainly don't produce it themselves. Things such as arms, food, water, equipment, intel. Follow the lines of supply or snatch up someone with a hand in it and choke the info. out of them, something we know all too well that Vader's good at. I think this would be a plausible reason for his presence in the film.

  2. I bet they're shoehorning him in at the last second because they know the movie is shit and a flop.
They're hoping to recreate the Rogue One scene and hope people will forgive the film by dick riding whatever scene(s) they're going to come up with.
No one wanted this movie. It was a stupid idea from the start.

This should've been a Shadows of the Empire movie.

  3. Instead of perpetually teasing all the fans, they should once and for all just give Vader his own damn movie set between Episodes III and IV involving the hunt for surviving Jedi and exploring his complex relationship with Emperor Palpatine (played by the fantastic Ian McDiarmid, of course).
